Frequently asked questions

Questions?

1. How do I become a star member?

To become a star member, you must first become a corporate member. After submitting the corporate member application form, a member of the team will reach out to you for next steps.

After becoming a star corporate member, employees of your organization can then become individual star members by completing this form. No other action is required from your end.

For any questions or assistance with star membership, contact us at info@star-semicon.com.

2. Why do I need to become a star member?

Becoming a star member gives you access to industry insights in the semiconductor and automotive industries. Membership also gives you access to star-members-only events and activities that allow you to network with peers in your industry.

3. How do I register for an event?

If you go to the event page and you are not able to register, this means that you have not logged into your star account or that you are not a star member. Please refer to “How do I become a star member?” for more information on how to become a star member.

4. Where do I change my contact information?

Once you are logged in to your star member account, you can browse your profile and select “My profile settings” to adjust any required information including your business phone number, business email address, and professional title.

Issues?

1. My company is a star member, but I can’t register for an event.

If you are your organization’s point-of-contact, your account should have been automatically created and you should be able to register for an event. However, please note that all employees/individuals affiliated with your organization need to create a personal star member account by submitting a form here.

Once a personal account is created, they should be able to register for events.

2. How do I know that my star account has been created?

Once your star account has been created, you should receive an email to set up your password. If your account has been created and you are still not able to register, contact us at info@star-semicon.com.

3. I can’t seem to find my confirmation email/my password reset email.

If you are unable to retrieve confirmation emails or password reset emails, we ask that you first check your junk mailbox. If you still cannot find it, please contact us at info@star-semicon.com.

4. I registered for the event, but now I cannot attend. How do I cancel my registration?

Your ticket is personal and non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend an event, you may transfer your ticket to another individual up to 10 days before the conference. To transfer a ticket, please send an email to info@star-semicon.com with the following details for the new ticket holder: name, business email address, professional title, organization. Copy the new ticket holder on the email. Please note that the new ticket holder must be eligible to register for the event. In the case of star-members-only events, the new ticket holder must be a star member.

Please note: when transferring a ticket, only the personal details of the ticket holder can be changed. The event content of the original registration, such as breakouts, lunch or dinner registrations, will remain identical. Transferring a ticket will remove the original ticket holder’s personal information from our systems. Only the new ticket holder will be granted entry to the conference.

Avoiding food waste is part of our sustainability efforts. Therefore, we urge you to report a no-show at least 10 days before the event in order to reduce food waste.

For more information about our event terms and conditions, please visit T&C Automotive Chiplet Forum.
